Taking off your shoes after spending hours in them can be a relief when you reach home. However, do you ever detect a weird stench, only to find the stench comes from your feet? Foot odour happens due to excessive perspiration and the growth of bacteria, especially if you tend to wear tight-fitting shoes all day. One simple way to keep your feet smelling fresh is through a tea tree oil foot soak.

Tea Tree Oil Foot Soak

Ingredients you will need include: ⅓ cup of warm cider vinegar, 6 drops of tea tree oil and 1 drop of peppermint oil. Fill your foot basin with these ingredients and warm water. Soak for about 20 minutes. Wash off your feet as usual. Do the foot soak on a regular basis and you will not be embarrassed to remove your shoes at someone else’s house anymore.

Similar to foot odour, people who suffer from body odour find it embarrassing, frustrated and are often distressed. Body odour occurs when the bacteria on your skin break down sweat into acids. Tea tree oil contains compounds that can fight the bacteria and banish body odour.
